Day 01:

At 10.30pm depart for your hotel in Yogyakarta, drive  1h30 to reach Selo village as the starting point.

By midnight, managed by an expert trekking guide, you will ascend the Volcano.

Day 02:

At 05.00 AM, reach the summit, and enjoy a stunning sunrise (if weather allows).

Descent back – down in a 5 hrs walk.  Arrive back at your hotel at about 1.00 pm .

Participants must:

1. Have previous experience in ascending mountain.
2. No historic of lung, asthma or other respiratory diseases cause of gas emissions due to the potential harmful effects of volcanic gases.
3. Must be in best physical condition.
4. Participants travel on his/her own risk.

Volcanic activity can change without warning. In the interests of personal safety trip details may change at short notice due to volcanic activity, weather, or request from local authorities.

All reasonable care is taken on tours, but volcanic activity is unpredictable, and no guarantee can be made about safety on an active volcano. We have never had an accident in 20 years of conducting tours.
